1) भारताने WHO च्या पारंपारिक औषध केंद्रासाठी $250 दशलक्षांची वचनबद्धता व्यक्त केली:

भारताने 2025 ते 2028 या कालावधीसाठी जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेला (WHO) मुख्य कार्यक्रमांसाठी $300 दशलक्षांहून अधिक निधी दिला आहे. यापैकी सर्वात मोठी रक्कम $250 दशलक्ष पारंपारिक औषधांसाठी उत्कृष्टता केंद्र स्थापनेसाठी वापरली जाईल. भारत WHO च्या मुख्य निधीसाठी सहावा सर्वात मोठा जागतिक योगदानकर्ता आहे. WHO ला $7.1 अब्जांचा निधी गॅप आहे, ज्यामध्ये $2.2 अब्जांची वचनबद्धता झाली आहे.

1) India Commits $250 Million for WHO Traditional Medicine Centre:

India has pledged over $300 million to the World Health Organization (WHO) for core programs from 2025 to 2028. The largest portion, $250 million, will be allocated for the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Traditional Medicine. India is the sixth-largest global contributor to WHO's core funding. WHO faces a $7.1 billion funding gap, with $2.2 billion in pledges so far.
2) UPI वॉलेट मर्यादा ₹5,000 पर्यंत वाढली:

रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (RBI) UPI Lite साठी व्यवहार मर्यादा ₹500 वरून ₹1,000 पर्यंत आणि वॉलेट मर्यादा ₹2,000 वरून ₹5,000 पर्यंत वाढवण्याचा प्रस्ताव दिला आहे. याशिवाय, UPI 123 Pay ची मर्यादा ₹5,000 वरून ₹10,000 पर्यंत वाढवण्यात आली असून, आता ते 12 भाषांमध्ये उपलब्ध आहे. UPI आणि IMPS प्रमाणेच, NEFT आणि RTGS मध्ये देखील लाभार्थी नाव सत्यापन सुविधा सुरू करण्यात येणार आहे, ज्यामुळे फसवणूक कमी होईल.

2) UPI Wallet Limit Increased to ₹5,000:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has proposed increasing the transaction limit for UPI Lite from ₹500 to ₹1,000, and raising the wallet limit from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000. Additionally, the UPI 123 Pay limit has been raised from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000, and is now available in 12 languages. NEFT and RTGS will also adopt beneficiary name verification, similar to UPI and IMPS, to reduce fraud.
3) इटालियन विमानवाहक जहाजाने गोव्याच्या किनाऱ्यावर भारतीय नौदलासोबत पहिले सराव युद्ध केले:

1 ते 6 ऑक्टोबर 2024 दरम्यान, भारतीय आणि इटालियन नौदलाने गोव्याच्या किनाऱ्यावर पहिली संयुक्त सराव युद्ध केले. या सरावात भारतीय विमानवाहू जहाज INS विक्रमादित्य आणि इटालियन विमानवाहक जहाज ITS कावौर तसेच त्यांचे ताफे सहभागी झाले होते.

3) Italian Carrier Holds Maiden Exercise with Indian Navy Off Goa:

From October 1-6, 2024, the Indian Navy and Italian Navy conducted their first joint exercise with their Carrier Strike Groups (CSG) off the coast of Goa. The exercise involved the Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya, the Italian aircraft carrier ITS Cavour, and their escort vessels.
4) RITES आणि Etihad रेल्वेने रेल्वे पायाभूत सुविधा विकासासाठी सामंजस्य करार केला:

RITES लिमिटेड आणि Etihad रेल्वेने UAE मधील रेल्वे पायाभूत सुविधा विकासासाठी सामंजस्य करारावर स्वाक्षरी केली आहे. या करारात रेल्वे रोलिंग स्टॉकचा पुरवठा, भाडेपट्टी, सल्ला सेवा, प्रकल्प व्यवस्थापन, आणि संचालन यांचा समावेश आहे.

4) RITES & Etihad Rail Sign MoU for Railway Infrastructure Development:

RITES Limited and Etihad Rail have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the development of railway infrastructure in the UAE. The agreement focuses on the supply and leasing of rolling stock, consultancy, project management, and operations.
5) भारतीय महिला संघाने आशियाई टेबल टेनिस स्पर्धेत पहिल्यांदाच कांस्य पदक जिंकले:

भारतीय महिला संघाने 2024 च्या आशियाई टेबल टेनिस स्पर्धेत ऐतिहासिक कांस्य पदक जिंकले. 1972 पासून सुरू असलेल्या या स्पर्धेत महिला संघासाठी भारताने प्रथमच पदक मिळवले आहे. भारताने उपांत्य फेरीत जपानकडून 1-3 असा पराभव पत्करला, परंतु त्यांनी उपांत्यपूर्व फेरीत दक्षिण कोरियाला पराभूत करून पदक मिळवले.

5) India Wins First-Ever Women's Team Medal in Asian Table Tennis Championships:

The Indian women's team secured a historic bronze medal at the 2024 Asian Table Tennis Championships. This is India’s first-ever team medal in the women’s category at the event since it began in 1972. India lost 1-3 to Japan in the semifinals, but secured the medal after defeating South Korea in the quarterfinals.
